“If she managed to reach that far
with all her paranoia
then definitely she must have
some faith in people”
Mick
1. Things are not what they seem.
I can argue that all day. But that will probably give you the wrong idea about me.
As much as I enjoy debates I have an affinity for being nonchalantly curious.
Here’s the story. I tend to put myself in the position of having to take responsibility for them. Then they follow by nominating me to be the one to go ahead, make the plan, take the risk and shoulder everything.
And I go by what they expect. Whose fault is it?
2. I shall introduce her to you in good time. Otherwise the surprise might be ruined.
Remember, there’s only one mistake you can make with her.
Don’t make it.
3. I see myself as someone who is settled in solitude. I appreciate company once in a while but can’t bear it for long.
Too many things to do, too little time to waste on social conventions and small talk.
4. “What about intimacy?”
“What about it?”
“You come across as a person seeking warmth.”
“I’m just humorous.”
5. You say you want to carry on sharing intense emotional experiences with me.
I say I want my peace and quiet. That’s something you can’t offer me.
We’ll have to negotiate.
6. It takes a long time to get a true feel for her. She’s first familiar, then distant, then aggressive and threatening, then defensive.
Then paradoxical.
See if you can reach that stage with her. It requires patience and an integrative ability.
She’ll reward you with her trust. What more can you ask for?
